Middle School Transition
Students living within the Olympia High School attendance boundaries and currently enrolled in one of our feeder middle schools will automatically “roll up” to Olympia High School.
If you are coming from another school or live outside the Olympia High School attendance boundary, please visit our enrollment page.
Our counseling team is unable to individually meet with incoming Freshmen families; however, this site will be updated with important information to help with the middle school to high school transition process, along with two in-person events:
- Welcome Night on April 15th from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- Freshman Orientation - Fall 2026
Welcome Incoming 8th Grade Students and Families
OHS Counselors will visit Reeves Middle School on March 27th and Washington Middle School on March 26th to present Freshmen registration information.
Our Welcome Night will be on April 15th, 2026, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Incoming 9th-grade parents/guardians will have an opportunity to hear the Registration Presentation. Hear a welcome from Principal Grant and get information about The OlyWay, Transitioning to OHS, Bear Crew, Athletics, ASB, Clubs, and more. All new students and families are welcome to attend this presentation.
Please Note: Students receiving special services from an IEP or Multilingual teacher will be contacted by the Case Manager to request courses based on a student's IEP. Students with an IEP or Multilingual services should still complete the course request form for their elective choices.
