Health Services

Health Services staff are available to support student learning by serving students, families and staff with health care issues. They assist both ill and injured students at school. They plan and communicate both short and long term health care needs with school staff and provide staff training as needed. Life Threatening Health Conditions

Many students have health conditions such as food allergies, severe asthma, diabetes, seizures or heart conditions that may cause a life threatening emergency during the school day. These students must have a plan including medication and/or treatment orders. Contact your school nurse for assistance with completing the required health plan.

Ready for school?

Our health room will be open before school starts to drop off required paperwork and medications that need to be on file before your child can start school, such as epi-pens, diabetes orders and supplies, and critical medications. All students with life-threatening conditions (e.g. asthma, diabetes, severe allergies) need to have orders and medications in place before they can attend school. For questions please contact your health room 360-596-7008.

*New*  Effective 8/1/2020: All students must be compliant with updated state immunization rules in order to attend the first day of school. There is no longer a 30 day conditional status. Please see the Department of Health website for information https://www.doh.wa.gov/
